Can Electric Cars Save the Planet?

Location: San Francisco

Fortune magazine reports, "Today, around 2 million of a total one billion vehicles on the planet run on electric or hybrid engines. The IEA expects that number to rise to 50 million by 2025, and to 280 million by 2040, as countries everywhere encourage their drivers to make the change to e-mobility."

The next Climate Change & Energy (CC&E) Learning Group session will discuss (with experts) the impact of dwindling combustion engine cars, ZEVs impact on global carbon dioxide emissions, soaring electricity demand and renewable energy's ability to step in. We will also look at California's big bet on 5 million EVs by 2030.

The seminar will be held from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Pacific on April 6, 2018 in San Francisco.

This session is open to friends and members of TPW. Please contact Michelle Nelson at for more information or to register.
