The TPW Climate & Energy Learning Group is pleased to host former Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz who will discuss the looming challenges in forestalling climate havoc. With a focus on alarming atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations, deep decarbonization represents the imperative to achieve zero emissions very quickly, typically targeting 90% emissions reduction by 2050. What are the consequences of missing? Do we have the full requisite suite of technologies and policies to achieve this? If so, how can they be nurtured? If not, what else is there?
