Lauren Evans is responsible for program support and coordination and member engagement at The Philanthropy Workshop. From 2015-2016, Lauren worked at the Ghana Health and Education Initiative as the organization's Health Program Coordinator in Humjibre, Ghana where she developed and implemented community-based health programming. Previously, she was a program coordinator for The Philanthropy Workshop. She has held several positions in the non-profit sector, including at the United Nations Foundation in Washington, D.C., working on public policy and advocacy projects aimed at advancing global women's health and rights. She also has an extensive background in cross-cultural communications and direct services from working in South Korea and India for two years and with newly resettled refugees in Denver. Lauren holds a B.A. in anthropology from Boston University and a M.A. in international development and certificate in global health affairs from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver.
