TPW member Anne Avis, who supports independent journalism and increased democracy for global communities, is also striving to make the arts more accessible in Bozeman, Montana in her role as a @tinworksart board member. In 2021, Tinworks Art piloted a grant program to prioritize emerging and Indigenous artists, with a specific goal to remove hurdles to the profession, help advance artists’ careers, and engage grantees in public programming.
