Glen Galaich to step down; Tracy Mack Parker named acting CEO

New York (October 5, 2015)—The Philanthropy Workshop’s Board of Directors announced today that Dr. Glen Galaich will step down as CEO effective October 30. Dr. Galaich will join the Stupski Foundation, a San Francisco-based grantmaking foundation, and remain as an advisor to TPW’s board.

Executive Vice President Tracy Mack Parker has been appointed acting CEO.

The Philanthropy Workshop is the world’s leader in strategic philanthropy education. With offices in London, New York, and San Francisco, the TPW member network of more than 350 philanthropists is the largest of its kind and unique to the field of philanthropy. TPW’s members hail from the United States and the United Kingdom with significant numbers from Canada and countries throughout Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia.

Mack Parker is an attorney by training and formerly worked as managing director for the Institute for Philanthropy and as senior officer with The Pew Charitable Trusts. As part of the TPW management team, she manages the New York office and leads the organization’s highly acclaimed TPW Intensive Program.
