Tracy Mack Parker named CEO, The Philanthropy Workshop
New York (November 2, 2015)—The Philanthropy Workshop’s Board of Directors announced today that Tracy Mack Parker has been appointed chief executive officer effective November 1, 2015.
The Philanthropy Workshop (TPW) is the world’s leader in donor education. With offices in London, New York, and San Francisco, the TPW member network of nearly 400 philanthropists is the largest of its kind and unique to the field of philanthropy. TPW’s members hail from the United States and the United Kingdom with significant numbers from Canada and countries throughout Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia.
“Tracy’s leadership and inspiration has helped guide TPW to a position as the world’s leader in donor education,” said Katherine Lorenz, chair, The Philanthropy Workshop. “She is an experienced, thoughtful, and proven leader, and, as CEO, will continue to grow TPW’s reach and inspire our global network of philanthropists to create a more just, sustainable, and enriching world.”
Mack Parker is an attorney by training and formerly worked as managing director for the Institute for Philanthropy and as senior officer with The Pew Charitable Trusts. As executive vice president of TPW, she managed its New York office and led its highly acclaimed global TPW Intensive Program.
